Dive Instructor

Full & Part time position open for engaging, positive, and motivated OWSI or higher at Hawaii’s oldest Surf and Dive Shop and Ocean Sports Headquarters SURF N SEA on Oahu’s Fabled North Shore.

During our busy dive season, you will be leading DSD’s, certified divers, and students at a variety of dive sites. During our slower times you will have an option of retail and dive sales (Full time). While in the shop you will be paid hourly plus commissions, and while diving, instructions is paid a percentage of student fees collected.

Candidate must possess the following qualifications:

Current Teaching Status

Self-Motivated

Work Visa or U.S. Citizen

Excellent Communications Skills

Enthusiastic

Customer Service Oriented

Additional beneficial qualifications:

Hawaii Dive/Work Experience

PADI  Emergency First Response Qualification/Trainer

Scuba Equipment & Compressor knowledge and repair

Retail Experience

Other languages, especially Japanese
