Emory University in Atlanta, GA (USA) is currently seeking an instructor to assist with teaching the confined water portion of the University’s PADI Open Water Diver course.
Title: Scuba Teaching Assistant: Provides teaching assistance to staff and faculty as needed for Beginning Scuba Diving class.
Duties include skill demonstration, evaluation and in water supervision, basic gear assembly and maintenance, filling scuba cylinders, briefings, and responsibility for student safety.
Qualifications: current PADI Scuba Instructor or Assistant Instuctor; current certification in professional level CPR (BLS-HCP, CPRO, or equivalent); current certification as an oxygen provider.
Hours: 3-6 hours biweekly from February 2/4 to April 27 2014 Required hours are concurrent with scuba class pool sessions, Wednesdays from 5:15 – 8pm.
