German – English speaking Instructor required for Maldives

Our Dive Centers in Thudufushi – Athuruga, Ari Atoll, Maldives have an opening for a position of GERMAN speaking instructor. To complete our successful team, we are looking for dedicated professionals that are willing to start within the next month; ideal age between 22 and 34 years.

Essential qualifications for all applicants are:
-Absolutely fluent in German and English, French and/or Italian is a plus, other languages welcome;
-Willing to live and work in the Maldives from now to an average 6 month contract;
-Flexible, service oriented, clean & tidy outfit, no visible piercing and no excessive tattoos;
-Willing to fit in a highly professional and harmonic team;

Instructors should fulfill most of the following additional requirements as:
-Minimum qualification of PADI OWSI;
-Enriched Air Nitrox & EFR specialty;
-Current year teaching status;
-Fully diving insured;
-Proven record of at least one-year experience of working in a Dive Center
(preferable also experience in working as DM before becoming an Instructor)
(preferable also experience in working in the Maldives)
-Highest safety awareness and respecting training standards
-Outstanding sales skills for all diving activities;
-Willing and being physically able to lift and carry tanks (not on a daily basis but if required);
-Must have full personal equipment, including diving torch (not a back-up light);

Guiding certified divers, teaching new divers and doing photo-and-video shooting and editing are just few of the duties

To our candidates we offer a seasonal cooperation contract (from April 2015) in one of our islands (Athuruga or Thudufushi, Ari Atoll, Rep. of the Maldives) however, the contract can be renewed for further six months, if both parties are happy and satisfied.

-Regular Work Permit under Maldivian rules and regulations;
-Accommodation in double shared room with A/C, minibar, private bathroom
-Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) in main guest restaurant;
-Unlimited Water, soft drinks, tea and coffee in guest bar;
-Monthly flight allowance;
-Basic Salary (paid in USD) plus high commission on courses;
-Superb diving locations (!!!);
-Relaxed and friendly atmosphere with other colleagues;
