PADI Divemaster Trainee Internship at Spirit Diving Resort in Sicily.

Sea Spirit Diving Resort is a PADI 5 Star Resort (S-23630) located in Giardini-Naxos/Taormina, Sicily, Italy. Passion, safety, professionalism, a good crew and a personal approach to the customer are our keywords that also leads to our successful dive resort. 

To complete our enthusiastic team, we are looking for a person who wants to take his/her diving skills to the professional level of a PADI Divemaster and is interested to also take the next step: becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and teach people what you love! Diving!

Your internship with Sea Spirit Diving Resort will make you an employable and competent dive professional. We make sure you complete all the required parts of the PADI Divemaster Course plus you will gain extra experience by working directly with our customers in all its aspects and become a skilled deckhand by assisting the skipper on our boat. Also you will improve your skills when it comes to handling a compressor and maintaining dive equipment.

The program will exist of the following:

– Follow the program of the PADI Divemaster Trainee Internship which consists of diverse skills such as assisting on PADI courses, doing workshops, practical skills, water skills exercises, problem solving, briefings, dive guiding and knowledge development

– Participating in the daily program of Sea Spirit Diving Resort

– Providing information and selling at our Sea Spirit infopoint.

– Assist skipper

What are we looking for:

– PADI Rescue Diver (or hold an equivalent certification from another organization) with at least 40 logged dives (minimum age is 18 years old).

– Languages: English is a requirement. Furthermore, the second required language is Russian or French.

– Driving license

What do we offer:

– Free PADI Divemaster Trainee Internship from June until October and sign off as a PADI Divemaster (PADI materials and fees not included).

– A position in the Sea Spirit Team 2015 so you can gain a lot experience on all the aspects of diving and the task of a PADI Divemaster plus getting experience by working in a PADI 5 Star Resort.
