The Black Frog dive centre is located in Torrox Costa, Malaga; a small seaside town along the beautiful Costa del Sol. The diving shop is located in Laguna Beach, a complex of beautiful apartments with outdoor and indoor pools, restaurants, bars and shops.
The originality of the funky, recycled and handmade decorations and furniture in the dive centre, reflects the team’s ecological views and respect for the environment, and gives the base a fresh, relaxing and creative feel. An efficient dive centre, providing PADI certified scuba diving courses and accompanied snorkelling and scuba dives along the coastline of the Costa del Sol.
Our dives are easy access beach dives, with close shallow reefs and dive sites for snorkelling and scuba dives. We can also access deeper dive sites by boat with our partners in the area.
Based in Torrox Costa but diving all along the Costa del Sol, which are exciting and rich with sealife and places like Calahonda, Nerja, La Herradura, Almuñécar, Marina del Este, Almeria, Gibraltar and Tarifa. We have our own transport to various dive sites.
Despite having a variety of superb dive locations along the South coast of Spain, we continually look for new and exciting dive locations to improve the services we offer our clients.
In the Mediterranean coastline of Malaga, there is an abundance of sea life, ranging from amazing colourful coral, mola-mola, fish, octopus, anemones and more.

I enjoyed my four dives in the cooler than normal sea. My instructors were both careful and made the diving worth while especially the boat entry dives. Plenty of fish and octopus.
Would come back to Blackfrog when next in Spain.
Okay, Martin and Black Frog Divers are TOTALLY AWESOME! My wife and I hadn't been diving since our certification and wanted to dive on our trip to Spain. Martin was very accommodating. He walked us through the process, reminding us of important points and things to remember. He even did a short underwater test to make sure we felt comfortable in various scenarios. Since we hadn't been in so long, the extra checks and instruction were very welcome.
While the conditions weren't fantastic on the day we went, Martin led us on an excursion where we saw lots of active sea life. We had a really fantastic time, much of that due to Martin's patient demeanor, experience, and enthusiasm for diving.
We would absolutely dive with Black Frog Divers again when in Spain.

Great holiday right on the coast, 1 week was unfortunately much too short. A 6-block to dive at Black Frog Divers is absolutely super, inexpensive and professionally led!
Own diving equipment is an advantage. Underwater camera and lamp advantage!

Did two dives with the team. Great staff and good equipment. They speak very good English and will give you a great time underwater. 2 dives with gear at 80 Euro. Started at 08:30 and on my way back home at 14:00. I would definitely come back. Thanks for the dives 🙂

We booked a kayak tour with black frog divers last summer. The organisation in advance was top. I had a few questions per mail and the answers come directly and very friendly.
The problem was the day with the trip itself. We came to the laguna and couldn't find a sign from black frog divers. There was only another agency with kayaks. At first, we were a little bit confused and waited for somebody from black frog divers, but nobody appeared. After a while, I talked to a gay from the other agency who barely spoke english and after two phone calls, a lot of gestures with hands/feed, we knew that this was the right place to be and black frog divers acted only as a mediator. The tour was completly in spanish, we didnt understand the safety instructions very well.
But in the end, the kayak trip was very nice, we had a lot of fun in the water and I recommed this kayak trip only for people with good spanish skills.
Did my open water PADI course over the summer. Really enjoyed all the dives and Marcin and Sara are both super friendly and helpful. Came back to Nerja in October and recently also did a my first night dive with Marcin. Hugely recommend and hope to do my advanced open water later this year with them.
The dive team were nice but the dive sites were a bit lacking in marine life.
Me and my boyfriend did the Discover Scuba Diving course with Black Frog Divers. We did two dives together with Marcin and it was a great experience!
Both Sara and Marcin are very professional, relaxed and lovely people, which made our diving experience that much better.
I was a bit panicked by the thought of taking the regulator out of my mouth under the water, it took me a while to relax enough to practise the skill before we set off. The instructor was very patient with me and wouldn't let me give up. He calmed me and encouraged to push through the anxiety and relax. I'm glad he did. It was worth it!

I recently had a few 'Try Dives' with Black Frog Divers and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have now signed up for the PADI Open Water Course.
The staff are very professional in their approach to new students and have the patience of saints. I will be a pain in their sides until I leave here. Only a mild pain though. Highly recommended.
Went for a couple of days diving and had a lovely experience. The dives were great, the diversity of life was larger than expected. It was a shame we couldn't also fit in some boat dives, but the shore dives were also lovely. Staff is friendly and helpful and the kit all good. We had a very positive experience and will definitely return.
