Acordiving Dive Centre

Azores diving center has two names that has the same meaning. Acorn diving is there Portugees name.

You feel like a family when you go there. Specially when you do more diving than one.

I looked around and compere all the prizes and they ware not the cheapest one. But because I wanted to dive at a SSI diving center I went to them and tolk to the owner Emanuel. He thought about it and matched the price. 6 dives with the equipment was 250 euro.

Everybody is very friendly. I dived with Pedro an Keko also know as a male stripper 😉 His girlfriend Alba is a beatifull and a nice girl and will help you.

I did a total dive of 6 and you can choose witch day you want to do dive.

I recommend them to you.

Travelling around the islands we wanted to see if we could get a couple of dives in as well as everything else!

We were lucky to get a place as all the dive shops seem busy at the end of August and we were only ever able to plan a day in advance.

Everyone was very friendly and, in particular, helpful, as we had new equipment, were unused to steel tanks and usually dive warmer waters.

We did two dives and our guide was excellent. The water was cold and we needed to hire thicker wetsuits for the second dive which was no problem, and no additional charge.

The dive sites were both very interesting, plenty of fish life, nudibranchs and a couple of rays. Perhaps not the volume of fish that one sees at other locations, but good for all that.

If you're diving you won't go wrong with this crowd, the others may be just as good. I can't say these are better as we only experienced the one.

Well, what can we say other than we really had a perfect time with the staff from Açordiving. We came as total rookies, our last dives were three years ago, wanting to refresh our diving techniques and we got the full package: a warm welcome, a very skillful instructor and beautiful diving spots.
We improved on every dive under the eyes of the awesome Rodrigo, who really looked after us and our improvement on every single dive still giving tipps and letting us learn from his knowledge.

We did the open water course. The staff was nice and very helpful. The instructors, Pedro and Keko, were very professional and gave us a safe feeling, We had an amazing time with them. We dove at Sao Roque and at the Dori, two beautiful dive locations with a lot of underwater life that is definitely worth to see. it was a wonderful experience and we hope to see you guys again.

Enjoyed a great dive with Azores Sub from their RIB. We dived the east of the islet - volcanic boulders - a site called 'the kitchen'. Plenty of variety of fish life. Good equipment and well organised set up.

Pedro and team were great! I booked three days of two-tank dives. Pricing was reasonable, equipment seemed in good shape, and the whole crew was very efficient in getting us through the dives. I'd totally come back to book with Pedro and team if I were in the area again. I saw my first Octopus.. then I saw 5 more!

Had a couple of dives and was a bit disappointed with the actual diving.

Nice crew and kit etc, but was just missing that wow factor.

Would dive again with the company but only if nothing else to do that day, not the dive centers fault just the area they are in.

The instructors are very friendly and professional. The diving site is very beautiful. The boat trip is very nice, beautiful site,, helpfull staff. Highly recommended for anyone to take the diving license or just to dive.

We wouldnt dive with any other dive company. They have excellent dive guides, have a wealth of knowledge of the sites and this shows in the briefings. They are extremely well organised and the hotel pick up is in the price. A real value for money place, and how well they treat both the experienced and novice diver. (we have both in our club). They are very Eco aware and respect the dive environment.

We booked for four days diving (total of 8 dives) From the momment they picked us up ,it was excellent, in service,professionlisum ,and quality.

the dives were all 45 min plus excellent guides all included in the price, my daughter is 14 and loved every minute of it.
